Columbo Shopping Center
The Columbo Shopping Center is a shopping center located in the parish of leisure Carnide in Lisbon in Portugal very famous and much visited. It is built along the avenue Lusíada and the Second Circular, the bus station next to the building and the underground station at the Military College allow visitors easy access to the site.
It was inaugurated on September 15, 1997.
The architecture of the space as well as its unique décor, were adapted to the Portuguese Age of Discovery, one of the most important periods of the history of Portugal. The squares and streets within the center have names alluding to the sixteenth time, such as street and square of Discovery Tropic of Cancer. Between 2007 and 2009, the center completely renewed its modern interior, blending contemporary themes as the original.
It has enough trade to bootblack, clothing stores, food stores, stationery stores, a chapel, a hypermarket, etc.. It also has movie theaters, amusement parks, gardens and occasional exposure to several restaurants. When it opened it was the largest shopping center in Portugal and the Iberian Peninsula.
The Towers of Colombo, provided the original project as part of Colombo's only started to be built up in 2007 due to an embargo by the city of Lisbon, but resolved by the courts. The East Tower is now complete and the West Tower to be completed in 2011.

This center has been concerned with the environment, as there is inside places to deposit different types of waste. It is the mall with more stores in Portugal, with stores like FNAC, Zara, Sport Zone and Vobis.

Centro Comercial Colombo
O Centro Colombo é um centro comercial de lazer localizado na freguesia de Carnide, em Lisboa muito famoso em Portugal e muito visitado. Está edificado junto à avenida Lusíada e à Segunda Circular; o terminal de autocarros junto ao edifício e a estação de metropolitano do Colégio Militar permitem aos visitantes um fácil acesso ao local.
Foi inaugurado a 15 de Setembro de 1997.
A arquitectura do espaço, bem como a sua decoração original, foram adaptadas à época dos Descobrimentos Portugueses, um dos períodos mais importantes da História de Portugal. As praças e ruas no interior do centro têm nomes alusivos à época quinhentista, tais como avenida dos Descobrimentos e praça Trópico de Câncer. Entre 2007 e 2009, o centro renovou por completo a sua decoração interior, misturando temas contemporâneos aos originais.
Possui bastante comércio tendo engraxador, lojas de roupa, lojas de comida, papelarias, uma capela, um hipermercado, etc. Também conta com cinemas, parques de diversão, exposições esporádicas e jardins com diversos restaurantes. Quando foi inaugurado era o maior centro comercial de Portugal e de toda a Península Ibérica.
As Torres do Colombo, previstas no projecto inicial como parte integrante do Centro Colombo, só começaram a ser edificadas em 2007 devido a um processo de embargo pela Câmara Municipal de Lisboa, resolvido entretanto pelos tribunais. A Torre Oriente já está concluída e a Torre Ocidente deverá estar concluída em 2011.
O Centro Comercial Colombo tem 119 725 m2 e 404 lojas.
Este centro tem-se preocupado com o ambiente, pois existe no seu interior locais para depositar os diferentes tipos de lixo. É o centro comercial com mais lojas em Portugal, tendo lojas como FNAC, Zara, Sport Zone e Vobis.
